We’ve got so much talent
WITH an improved UK economy, many businesses are once again thriving and looking forward to a period of growth and profitability, bar one small problem – a distinct lack of talent to fill their new roles. In fact, unemployment in Northamptonshire at four per cent is lower than the national average at 5.1 per cent, the lowest since 2005, as reported by the Office of National Statistics in October 2016.
Paul Hooper, Director at Impact Recruitment Services said: “There is a definite skills shortage in Northamptonshire but thanks to the Impact Recruitment brand reputation, we are still managing to attract great candidates to match to our clients’ needs. Because we’re a local firm with intricate knowledge of the county, we understand what makes Northamptonshire tick and what employers are looking for.”
Some of the main industries most affected by the skills shortage include IT, engineering, accountancy and finance, HR and marketing – all of which Impact Recruitment Services are well placed to manage.
Paul Hooper continued: “Here at Impact Recruitment, we are also enjoying significant growth and success – our team grew by over 30 per cent last year and we hope to have opened at least another two branches by the end of this year. Moving forward, our priority is to ensure that our growth does not compromise quality. We will continue to enhance existing client relationships at the same time as starting new ones with other local businesses that need top talent now. We really do have every reason to look forward to 2017 with confidence.”
Wishing you all a successful 2017.
