Meet the Team
Paul is a die-hard recruitment professional with 15 years industry experience. Originally from Northamptonshire, he has good local knowledge and many business contacts. He started his career with Staffline Recruitment before leaving to be a founder member of Impact Recruitment Services.
Paul is dedicated to delivering his clients a recruitment service that exceeds all expectations and in fact, he settles for nothing less.
Most of all, Paul works hard, but also knows how to play hard. He is motivated by his work and enjoys it immensely, which means people enjoy working with him. He is a big family man so has instilled a strong work:life balance ethic within Impact Recruitment Services. Also a big football and rugby fan supporting Liverpool Football Club and The Saints.
Neil's career started in 1986, with ABC Contract Services, moving to Staffline where he was joined by Paul and Nigel. An excellent working relationship was formed which led them to starting Impact Recruitment Services in 2002; so over 25 years industry experience. In actual fact, Neil claims to have started his career before this in his school tuck shop, which he claims were exceedingly profitable years!
He offers a wealth of experience to fellow recruitment professionals and clients alike, often acting in a mentoring capacity. He has a positive, down to earth character, which makes him a reliable person to work with. And as for enjoying sport, he is a huge Chelsea fan. You can begin to imagine the football tension in the office!
Nigel is also a recruitment pro, starting his career at Staffline Recruitment in 2000, after working for his family's manufacturing business for 20 years, and then joined forces with Paul and Neil to start Impact in 2002.
Despite his title, what Nigel really does is get to know clients and their businesses, to discover if and how Impact can help. Typically there is a need for the Impact service and Nigel makes it his responsibility to make businesses realise there is a better recruitment service out there and that it's Impact. Because of Nigel's personality and business style, Impact is not about a hard sale and poor ongoing service, instead, he makes sure that Clients receive a first class service that is bespoke to them from the start, and that subsequent Account Management is just as great. Also a proud family man, if he's not working then he'll mostly likely be on the golf course!.
Another Staffline buddy, James started his career there in 2000, moving to Impact in 2004 as he couldn't bear to be away from Paul, Neil and Nigel! He has accrued vast experience of the recruitment industry, from Business Development to Account Management which he found played more to his strengths, personality and working ethic.
Also a Liverpool fan, but more excitingly, they say everyone has a royal connection at some point in their family tree, well James really has - ask him to explain next time you see him!
Jane is probably the most enthusiastic and passionate person you'll come across in the recruitment industry, often heard chanting 'Jane Jane Super brain', hence JJSB! Jane also started her career at Staffline with Paul, Neil and Nigel, back in 1994, moving to Crown Personnel in 2000, and after some time off to start a family, Impact tempted her back last year. She is proactive, reliable and goal driven, with a fabulous sense of humour, everything you could want in a colleague and a business partner. Jane loves being back with Impact, and is thriving on getting 'back out there' meeting new contacts and clients.
Her primary focus is in the Industrial Division where she is already developing a strong track record for creating innovative recruitment solutions that solve her clients' business challenges. She has another aim in life, which is to bring more pink into the world!
