27 January 2012
Location: Northampton Office
Kerching!!
Vicky Capps, our Senior Consultant in our Commercial Team, has been awarded £1500 for winning the Impact Recruitment Services New Business competition. Vicky has had a fabulous year, not least because she got married and had a wonderful honeymoon in Antigua, but also because through excellent client and candidate service she has attracted the most new business, which supports our business growth strategy. We are delighted that Vicky's sterling performance has been recognised and we know she'll enjoy spending it, probably on another holiday!!
The Crazy Hats '10th' Anniversary Sponsored Charity Walk
18th March 2012 (1030)
Location: Wickstead Park, Kettering
Impact Staff and family will be participating in the '10th' anniversary Crazy Hats sponsored walk which supports breast cancer care in Northamptonshire with Avon as the main sponsor. Last year the Impact Team raised just over £500 and we are hoping to eclipse this amount as well as the amount of people in our team.
The Crazy Hats first walk was held in 2002 with 250 walkers taking apart and £7500 being raised.
In 2011 2600 walkers took part raising a massive £55,000 money which has been used to secure a much needed project for Kettering General Hospital.
Glennis Hooper (my Aunty) is aiming for 3000 walkers on the day so please help us to help her achieve this by encouraging your family, friends, work colleagues & neighbours to join in this fun filled and emotional walk.

Crazy Hats Fundraising
5th December
Location: Northampton Office
Throughout the year Impact operate an optional dress down day on a Friday with participants paying £1 each for the privilege to our chosen charity The Crazy Hats Breast Cancer Appeal. In October as part of the National Breast Cancer awareness campaign we had a pink dress down day with people turning up in various attire from a pink hat to a full on George form Rainbow outfit complete with head! It is always nice to get recognition and more importantly to see where the money is used! Good work Crazy Hats.
The Shirt of Hurt!
October 2011
Location: Northampton office
David Gore was not such a willing participant when he lost a bet and had to wear Paul Hooper’s Liverpool shirt, excruciating given he’s a devout Everton fan. This had nothing to do with the fact it was too big for him, but was a result of their bet they have twice a year, when their football teams play each other; the loser wears the winner’s shirt for the day. Dave seems to have a rather strained smile! The shirt of hurt!
